There is One God who reveals as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 8:6, Mat. 28:19).
The Bible is the inspired Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth as a baby, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave Himself to be crucified, dying as a sacrifice for the sins of man; He was buried and rose again (2 Cor. 5:21, 1 Tim. 1:15, John 19:1-30).
Salvation is offered to all who call upon the Name of Jesus and believe in their heart that He is the Son of God making eternity with God possible (John 3:16).
God’s Holy Spirit empowers the believer to live an overcoming life of service for Him and to our fellow man (Psa. 143:10, Col. 1:11).
All human life is sacred and created by God in His image. Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Psa. 139).
Our statement of faith does not exhaust the extent of our beliefs. The Bible itself, as the inspired and infallible Word of God that speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind, is the sole and final source of all that we believe.
For purposes of CVCCS’s faith, doctrine, practice, policy, and discipline, our Board of Directors and/or Executive Director is CVCCS’s final interpretive authority on the Bible’s application.
